Do I need to prep my walls before you arrive?
We handle all necessary wall preparation, including skim coating, sanding, and priming. If there is existing wallpaper, we offer our professional removal service as well. For historic homes, we specialize in plaster stabilization and Level 5 finishes. Proper prep is the key to a flawless finish.
How long does installation take?
Most residential accent walls or single rooms take 1-2 days. Larger commercial projects or complex historic home restorations will be scheduled based on square footage and material type. Contact us for a detailed timeline estimate.
Do you supply the wallpaper?
We are primarily an installation service. Clients typically purchase their preferred wallpaper, and we provide the expert installation. We are happy to advise on quantities needed before you order to ensure you have enough material (including overage for pattern matching).
Can you install over textured walls?
Wallpaper should not be installed directly over heavy texture (like knockdown or orange peel). We provide skim coating services to smooth textured walls, creating the perfect flat surface required for high-quality wallcoverings. Do you work with delicate materials like grasscloth or silk?

Do you work outside Minneapolis?

How much does installation cost?
Pricing depends on substrate condition, material complexity, and ceiling height. Most residential projects fall between $600 and $2,400 for installation only, exclusive of the wallpaper itself. Can you remove old wallpaper before installing new?
Yes, absolutely. Our professional wallpaper removal service uses commercial-grade steamers and enzymatic strippers to safely remove old paper and adhesives without damaging drywall. We then prep and prime the surface for new installation—often in the same visit.
